A card qualifies for a grade only if both its front and back centering are within that row's limits. Centering is the larger border ÷ total of the two borders, and the worse of the two axes (L/R vs T/B) counts.
Centering only. This is the ceiling PSA centering allows — the real grade can still land lower based on corners, edges, and surface. It never grades higher than centering permits.
